The vacation destination Saas-Fee/Saastal is now focusing on high alpine personal challenges. Wirz Brand Relations translated the new destination strategy into a new appearance.

Mission

Saas-Fee/Saastal's strategy centers on the destination's sporting nature, and with it comes a new focus on active guests seeking a high-alpine personal challenge - whether this is climbing one of the eleven four-thousand-meter peaks, or discovering the alpine mountain summer, is deliberately left open. Wirz Brand Relations translated this destination strategy into a new image.

Solution

The new brand identity was implemented with great care - with the aim of keeping the tried and tested and iconic alive. Thus, the logo with the memorably curved Saas-Fee lettering was only slightly modernized and, above all, further developed to meet digital requirements. The imagery takes up the high alpine challenges. They are authentic, unadulterated images that show the raw and unvarnished nature. Close-up and long shot form a creative contrast.

The new strategy is communicated with the campaign slogan "Keep on challenging, keep on wondering, keep on running, keep on ...".

Implementation

The new image is evident in the communication of the summer offer, and the first successes have been recorded: Inquiries from the Swiss for vacations in the Saas-Fee/Saas Valley region are already increasing. They can use the booking platform on the newly designed website to plan the accommodation and activities they want.
