Prof. Dr. Lauren Howe is Assistant Professor of Management with a focus on the Future of Work at the University of Zurich. Her research examines what people think of the changing world of work and how attitudes to aspects of the Future of Work play a role in shaping it. She is also very interested in the human side of leadership, e.g. the consequences of disclosing mistakes. Prof. Howe's findings have been published in highly cited journals in management, psychology, and other fields, including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Science Advances, the Journal of Business Ethics, Academy of Management Discoveries, the Leadership Quarterly, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Annual Review of Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. Dr. Howe also enjoys writing on scientific topics for popular newspapers and has been published in outlets such as The New York Times, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, and Scientific American. She holds a doctorate in social psychology from Stanford University.
